This prototype was developed as a part of a Skillz campaign searching for football games for the NFL. While it would've probably ensured a win for us had we already had an existing football game to rebrand and offer to Skillz, doing this from the ground-up was an incredibly fun time.
It is a simple runner game where your goal is to avoid enemies and score a touchdown with the football inside the stadium at the end of the level.
Roles: Game Artist, Concept Artist
Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Blender, Unity
Responsibilities:
- Character design, modeling, rigging and animation
- Texture work
- Unity prefab setup
- Comic strip for events leading up to the game.
Concepts for the footballer characters, which act as enemies in the game.
Later on in the development, the player and footballers wear opposing team colors (so if you were to choose your favorite team colors, the enemies would wear any opposing team's colors).

Part of a comic strip that was supposed to be shown at the start of the game for context. Player gets hit by a particularly powerfully kicked football, he then realizes the entire enemy team is after him now.
Early prototype visuals, player avoids enemies and static obstacles. You also score points with a perfect dodge, which triggers a brief slow motion for coolness.
